Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of my students don't have the means to be able to bring snacks to school during snack time. My school is in a low-income community and I love to give back by posting projects here on DonorsChoose. My students love eating these donated snacks and they always want more. Which is why for this next year I'm asking for more snacks in the hopes to make them last the whole school year.

Many of them also arrive to school feeling very hungry after arriving too late for breakfast.

I want to be able to have these snacks for them to eat in the mean time before lunch in case they are hungry, because a child won't learn if they are.

I have had a project for snacks funded before, so I know and see the impact of having these snacks for the kids. They always ask for them and they love to tell me which one is their favorite!
