My Project

You've completed your assignment and handed it in for your teacher to grade and give feedback. When you arrive at school the next day you approach your neatly labeled cubby to see that "You've got mail!" What could it be?

You dig into your mailbox to pull our your A+ assignment and you are one happy student.

A well organized classroom with cubbies or mailboxes ensure students are able to develop the basic life skill of routinely checking their mailbox and receiving important communication. Sometimes it might be a special announcement that your artwork has been entered in the district wide art show. More importantly students are learning how to follow a routine of checking their mailbox daily for important news or graded work.

The cubby system is how we start and end our day and keep students organized. Having a designated place to keep completed and uncompleted work, homework, and graded assignments helps to keep us organized and ensures student's hard work makes it home for them to share with their families. Please consider helping to teach my students about the critical daily life skill.
