Our school serves students from Kindergarten to fifth-grade. The students that attend our school are primarily from low socioeconomic backgrounds, and they often do not come to school in a position to be ready to learn. Regardless of their backgrounds, I strive to give students every opportunity possible to better themselves, their families, and our community through education.
My first-grade classroom provides a safe, fun, and supportive environment for student learning.
My classroom is a melting pot of students with all ability levels and backgrounds, who all deserve the best education I can give them. As a first year teacher, I have put an abundance of my personal resources and time into stocking my classroom with tools to help my students succeed. However, there are still products and resources that my students would benefit from having. We hope for your support in enhancing my students' education!
My Project
Currently, the mail system in our classroom is disorganized and not incredibly functional. Having this sturdy mailbox system will allow my students to each have their own space for important papers and notes. This will cut down on clutter and confusion at the end of the day.
Having an organized mailbox system will allow our class to have a few extra minutes of instruction every day; rather than fighting delivery confusion.
Notes will get home safely, and end f the day chaos will be eliminated!
The large Post-It Notes will allow me to make anchor charts for every subject. The charts will be posted on the wall for students to reference all year long, not only when they are learning the material.
