My Project

Supplies like cooking equipment, utensils, ingredients, and safety gear enable students to practice and develop their culinary skills in a controlled environment.

These resources support the practical aspects of the curriculum, allowing students to prepare, cook, and present dishes, while also ensuring food safety and hygiene.

3 goals for the culinary program are:

1.Skill Development and Mastery: To provide students with the hands-on experience and training needed to develop technical cooking skills, including knife techniques, food preparation, cooking methods, and plating. The goal is to prepare students for a successful career in the culinary industry by ensuring they are well-versed in both foundational and advanced culinary techniques.

2. Creativity and Innovation: To foster an environment where students can experiment with new ingredients, cooking styles, and presentation methods. Encouraging creativity helps students develop their unique culinary voice and adapt to evolving trends in the food industry.

3. Professionalism and Industry Readiness: To instill strong work ethics, teamwork, communication, and leadership skills, ensuring students are prepared for the professional demands of the culinary world. This includes training students in kitchen safety, time management, customer service, and business aspects like menu planning and budgeting.

Without proper supplies, it would be challenging to deliver a comprehensive, immersive culinary education.
