This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are creative, dedicated and full of questions! They absolutely love the challenges, being active, and engaging in projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions. They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration.

My students have the capability of excelling in all their hearts' desires. Through the daily challenges faced by this pandemic, they have managed to continue furthering their education and being active participants in their learning.

My Project

Our city is deemed the poorest city in the country. With this pandemic many families have struggled to keep jobs and provide for their children. As an educator, I look for ways to alleviate the stress parents feel at the start of a new school year.

The materials requested are an essential tool in the child's learning process.

Because of the financial stress families are feeling at this moment, providing this binder for their child would be an economic stress for the family.

In my eyes my students are Still The One and very important to me. Getting them prepared and off to a great academic start is my number one priority.
