This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students inspire me every single day. They’re not just hardworking—they’re full of creativity, curiosity, and a drive to express themselves through their art. Each one brings something special to our classroom, and it's amazing to see their unique voices come to life. With around 80% of our students qualifying for free lunch, we’re especially mindful about creating a space where every learner feels supported, seen, and empowered to thrive.

What I love most about my students is their resilience, creativity, and the joy they bring into our classroom each day.

They work hard, support one another, and constantly strive to grow—not just as artists, but as kind and thoughtful individuals.

I want to celebrate their achievements in a meaningful way. These prizes will be used to recognize students for their hard work, good behavior, and the positive choices they make. Whether it's winning an art award, showing leadership, or simply being a great teammate, every student deserves to feel proud of their accomplishments. These small celebrations will go a long way in encouraging them to keep doing their best and believing in themselves.
