This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are a walking school. Our students spend half of their school year walking to school in cold weather. Our families cannot afford to buy snow boots every year. This project will provide access to snow boots for families that are in great need.

Many of our students just own one pair of shoes and it is hard to keep their feet dry if they are walking to school in the snow.

Snow boots will make their commute a lot easier and they we will be ready and happy to learn.
