My Students

Do you remember how much you LOVED science as a kid? Scientific concepts tend to be forgotten if they are only read about. Hands-on experiments are exciting and results are remembered. "I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand." Please help encourage my students to understand.

My students are very inquisitive and ask a lot of questions.

They live in a small community with limited educational resources. Our school does not have money to purchase science materials for our classes. Students must share Science text books because there are not enough books for every student in our grade level.

My Project

These science activity tubs cover 8 different scientific concepts. Inside each tub are several hands-on experiments complete with materials and reproducibles. Students will learn about Matter, Electricity, Cells, Simple Machines, Human Body, Force and Motion, Earth Properties and the Solar System.

Inspire students to learn about the world around them.

My students do not get enough opportunities for hands-on science discovery in school. Encourage them to grow by seeking answers to their questions. Scientific inquiry and knowledge will change the world.
