My Project
This project will add on to an ongoing Library renovation project. Throughout the last several years, I have slowly renovated and upgraded the outdated library space to provide an accessible, inviting space to encourage all learners in their interests.
This project will specifically benefit my youngest students who do not have a table on which to work and explore ideas.
While we have many manipulatives and materials, younger students struggle to work on the adult-size tables. This kidney table will allow them to work comfortably with maker space materials and STEM activities. Bins will allow students to easily locate and transport materials while rugs will provide the students who still prefer to work on the floor, a comfortable environment.
These items will support my goal of a library space that is accessible and equitable for all students.
