My students need a camera and tablet to bring their communications technology inventions to life. They'll photograph their prototypes and mail proposals to companies.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My young inventors have ideas to advance communications technology! Help them bring their inventions to life!
These fourth grade students from the inner city, South Los Angeles, are thinking beyond their surroundings in a classroom with outdated computers and limited resources.
Their interests in science and technology are sparked! I'd love to keep the fire lit!
My Project
Few students from the inner city are given an opportunity to reach out to the world. But, their ideas, which they've made into cardboard prototypes, could change their lives, and ours. There's a chance that they could pursue this dream, and all others. My students need a tablet to contact companies, write business letters, create, and improve products and research information. They also need a digital camera to take photos of their inventions in its editing process and the final product before submitting them to companies.
Your donations will help to make our classroom resources current and available.
My students' dreams will grow legs and stretch beyond the walls, halls, streets, and into the world! We want to dream big! Help us!
