This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are compassionate, curious and energetic 4-5 year old preschool students who love to learn. They ask lots of questions and enjoy researching to seek answers to their questions. I teach preschool in a diverse inner-city elementary school .
My students are curious and love to explore.
My students love being outside, building with legos and coding with robots. They really enjoy learning and they love school. My students are learning a second language which include either French, Spanish, Japanese or Chinese.
My Project
My students are young budding artist who love to draw, paint, color and model and construct objects. My students are in need of acrylic paint and canvases to paint some of their creative art works, it would be great for them to be able to proudly display their artwork in their homes for others to see. Recently my students have begun to enjoy sculpting with playdough and it would be amazing to see what they can sculpt out of modeling clay.
My students are always looking for new materials to create with, and it would be great for them to be able to go in a corner of the room or to be able to take a sketch pad board outside and be able to draw, color or even paint what they see.
Our school is working on an outdoor classroom space and it would be nice for the students to be able to go outside and draw, paint and color what they see, smell and hear on the sketch pad boards.
