You Won't Be Bored in Board Game Club

My Project

This year I am once again the teacher in charge of my school's Board Game Club for Grades 6-8 students in the public NYC middle school where I teach, as well as being the Grade 6 ELA teacher. All of my Board Game Club students and ELA students always bring a spirit of creativity and learning into the classroom.

For this project, I am requesting some new games and Lego base plates for my Board Game Club students.

Playing old-fashioned board games off a screen and reading hard copy books remain valuable activities for today's students to learn new skills and practice cooperation and collaboration without using a device. These new materials would allow my students the opportunity to do this during this school year, and in years to come. I am also requesting books and some bookmarks to share with my ELA students.
