This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Turn a retro game into math fun time while practicing coordinate planes. I'd also love a copy of "Who was Milton Bradley?" to read to the students.

Students lack the ability to graph and use coordinate planes in 4th and 5th grade as shown in the NM-MSSA standardized test.

While playing this nostalgic game, students will have fun using coordinate planes without realizing they are using math to sink their opponent's battleship.

I am so excited to have the excellent game in the classroom with real materials, not markers, they need to sink ships. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to bring a much-loved game into the hands of young students.
