My Students

Hi!

My name is Dawn Moye and my students make me feel like the luckiest teacher.

This is my 3rd year of teaching and I am absolutely in love with it. Teaching kindergarten is an absolute dream.

My students are very full of energy, talkative, full of personality and extremely engaged. My students are naturally positive and always entered the classroom with a smile and ready to learn. We worked very hard and remained determined despite the challenges the pandemic brought upon us. My students love having spaces in the classroom that ignite their creativity whether it be through science, math, social studies and of course reading!

My Project

Teaching kindergarten is filled with a lot of imagination and of course good books that help make stories come alive with awesome illustrations and fun, new words to learn. Having access to a plethora of books will help build my students vocabulary, book handling skills and knowledge of different topics.

Allowing my students to utilize a classroom library filled with leveled texts that interest them at home and at school is the perfect way to feed their excitement to read.

My hope is to provide my students with endless resources starting with a good book.
