My Project
My students come from various backgrounds and economic statuses. Despite these differences, all of my students come to school ready to learn. Purchasing supplies can be a burden on my students' families.
As a special education teacher, I want to supply my students with things I believe will help them be successful.
I am requesting noise cancelling headphones. Some of my students are sensitive to sound. The headphones can help them block out a lot of the sound and help them regulate rather than escalate. I also need regular headphones for my class, so the students may do their online programs without disturbing each other. Sometimes my students can use a little extra motivation, so I am also requesting toys for a prize box and candy that can be given out to the students as a reward for behavior/meeting goals.
