My Project

My students are naturally curious. They love reading irrespective of the genre. I love seeing the sparkle in their eyes when they learn something new or when they find out more about a topic they are interested in. I enjoy seeing them selecting books from the library to share with their friends. The interaction I observe while they read books together is priceless.

Throughout the years, I have observed my students reading in small groups and interacting with each other.

They exhibit weakness in demonstrating knowledge of the prerequisite skills that are needed to help them better understand the materials they read. The books I have chosen will help to address those prerequisite skills while building confident readers. As a result, my students will be able to work to their fullest potential, develop a love for lifelong learning, while also cultivating critical thinking and vocabulary skills.
