Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come in the classroom each and every day, ready to learn! They are a kind hearted group who believes in themselves and their peers. My students always try hard in all that they do in our classroom and at our school.

My classroom is also full of active diverse learners that are constantly on the go; from sitting on the carpet or at their desks, working independently or with groups.

The students in my classroom love to spread out and work around the room! The students are always moving and learning!

My Project

The additional seating options will give my students choice while working independently and collaboratively! Flexible seating has positive effects on student learning and behavior. Flexible seating allows students to move while working. Whether it be using wobble chairs or cushions, students get to be physically active while learning. It's a fact that increasing physical activity increases student performance and brain function.

Flexible seating allows children to be more comfortable while working!

Sitting in a desk all day can be very uncomfortable. Flexible seating will provides choice to the students in my classroom as well as letting them get out the energy they need to be successful.
