This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The item I am requesting will be used as mailboxes in my classroom. The mailboxes will give my students a place to put their work, and other important papers to take home. This gives them a sense of ownership.
It will also allow them to practice responsibility, organization skills, and independence.
These are all essential skills we focus on in kindergarten!
It will also make it much easier to stuff their folders with their work at the end of a busy day; they can even learn to stuff their own folders!
