Do you remember the excitement you felt when you got a new toy? Whether that was a bike, a doll, or a new gaming device- we can all relate to that feeling. I want my students to feel this type of excitement in my classroom every day. My students work hard at any task they are given. It is the very best feeling to get to watch them learn and grow each day.
I am looking for new and engaging ways to challenge my students.
I want to incorporate more hands-on activities and the use of technology into my classroom to push my students to be the very best they can be.
My kindergarteners participate in intervention, literacy, and math centers throughout the school day. The technology programs I use in my classroom are differentiated so that each student is able to participate in tasks that are on his/her level.
Adding two iPads to my classroom will allow my students to use technology during centers to enhance their literacy and mathematical skills.
The iPads grant access to different reading and math apps that allow me to monitor each students' progress.
Students are engaged and focused when participating in activities at a technology center. The use of iPads in my classroom will allow me to incorporate different ways to challenge my students while also catering to their developmental needs.
