Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I work as a special education teacher in a low-income area. My school services a high number of special education students with various disabilities. As a special education teacher, there are many resources that I need for my students; however, there are not always funds available to the special education department.

My students are awesome.

Each one of them are unique in their own special way. My goal is to be their advocate and watch each one of them prosper.

My Project

Many students come to school without a snack. However, snacks should be apart of every student's school day. By having snacks to provide to my students will provide them with a boost of energy to get them studying and playing. Many of my students can not afford or sometimes parents do not provide them with a snack. I try to purchase snacks for those students who do not have a snack. However, I am not always able to purchase snacks for students with my personal money. Any assistance for this project will be greatly appreciated by my students and myself!
