This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Unfortunately, the Bronx has always had high food insecurity rates, and what does that mean for us? That some of those people are in our classroom. Our 9-year-olds come to our classroom, hoping to enrich their minds, and become wiser. Sometimes, that doesn't happen. Why? Because they are missing their little mid day snack.
