Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
There are absolutely many great examples I could give of the amazingness of my students! Many are involved in after-school activities such as Bilingual Club, Peer tutoring, After school show rehearsals, Community School Service, Honor Society, and more.
Many of my students come from low-income families.
Having a school snack and options on what to snack on will make a difference in their minds and hearts. Many of my children are incoming students who are learning English.
A language barrier is never a reason why a student shouldn't have any snacks to eat.
I know the kids will be beyond grateful, beyond motivated, and filled with gratitude that there are humans in this world who have helped this cause.
