This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hi! I am requesting a new and compact document camera along with a portable screen for my students. I work in a Title I school in the Bronx NY. I am also an ICT teacher, which means two teachers in the room at all times. This type of setting allows students with disabilities to be integrated with the general education population. My coteacher and I love working with technology When I work with my coteacher, we do a lot of small-group instruction. However, due to budget reasons, we don't have double the technology. Donating to my project would allow all our students the ability to interact with technology as they learn. They can see, highlight, and circle on their paper as I work on the same exact task by using the document camera. The screen allows me to project what we are working on and become an interactive and engaging lesson.
