This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My classroom consists of 28 young minds who are eager and anxious to learn. The majority of these students are low income and ELL students. Some have never attended school and have little to no home experience with literacy.
These are amazing children.
We want to provide them with materials that foster this love of learning. By funding this project, you will impacting these young lives by providing them with resources and materials that will allow them to thrive by making their school experience exciting and fun!
My Project
These classroom art supplies will help foster the creativity of the children in my classroom. By providing multicultural markers, each child will be able to represent who they are not only in the classroom, but now in their own artwork.
Some of my children have never had their own box of crayons, this project will ensure that every child has access to the colors and materials that they need to complete their original works of art.
Think about how it felt as a child to open up a brand new box of crayons or a new box of markers. By providing these materials you are opening up the imaginations of so many children who cannot wait to design and create.
