My Project

My kindergarten class loves to listen to stories. One of my favorites are Gingerbread books. I have collected many versions of the book such as Gingerbread Man, Gingerbread Girl, Gingerbread Ninja, and Gingerbread Bear.

We bring The Gingerbread Man books to life by comparing their stories, coming up with ways for the Gingerbread Man to outsmart the fox, designing gingerbread houses, and decorating cookies.

I found a Gingerbread STEM kit that will allow my students to design and build a raft to help the gingerbread cookie cross the river. I can't wait to see them work together and problem solve with this Gingerbread STEM kit. The gingerbread costume will allow the Gingerbread Man to visit my classroom. The sticker gingerbread kits will give my students a chance to decorate and design a gingerbread person and house. All of these materials will assist my students in discussing The Gingerbread Man and bring these stories to life. Thank you!
