Help me give my students ukulele tuners to use in our music classes.

My Project
We are extremely fortunate to have a full class set of ukuleles at our disposal. My music students are able to learn and practice at their own pace without having to share their instruments. It's amazing, and it is extremely beneficial for individual and classwide achievement.
One place where we lose a lot of instructional time is when our instruments need to be tuned.
Since I have only one tuner available, I am the only one who is able to tune the instruments that need to be adjusted, which means I am constantly tied down and unable to give my attention to students who need assistance with the content. The tuners in this project give us enough to share so that, once we learn how to properly adjust the instrument, students can exercise their independence and learn yet another ukulele skill.
Also, I have found that having hands-on instrumental instruction has been so much more beneficial to my students as we work through the transition from COVID online learning. To say we are struggling with physical and emotional regulation is an understatement. Music is a tool that we can use to grapple with this difficult time of big feelings and dysregulation. Because we are actively "doing" music, I don't have as many of these problems in my classroom, and I attribute that to the hands-on nature of what we are doing. Having the tuners will give the students the freedom to adjust their instruments quickly and get back to the business of making music.
Thanks for taking a look at our project today! Viva la musica!
