Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The materials and supplies that I am requesting will all be used in a new Special Education classroom. I am starting a new teaching assignment next fall and would love to provide some new materials for my students to use. The wobble stools will be used as flexible seating for those that struggle with regular classroom chairs. The sensory wall and therapy putty will be used for my students have a fun way to seek out sensory output. The visual timer, voice recording buttons, pencil pouches and velcro will be used during the different stations that I plan to set up in the classroom to help my students be more independent. I plan make writing more enjoyable for my students by providing a writing corner with the LCD Writing Tablets, Mr. Sketch markers and Dot Markers. The Magnatiles and Magnetic Blocks will be used to improve the fine motor skills of my students. The donations to this project will allow my students to become more independent learners and allow them to feel successful in the classroom. These supplies and materials will help engage my students and allow me to make learning fun again!
