Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The amount of times teachers tell their students to sit still, get in their chair, don't lean back, and to focus is way too often. The basic chairs students are given don't do anything to help their needs as kids. Kids need to move, bounce, wobble, stand, or lay down to focus and be a great learner. To do this, I want to provide flexible seating for my kids, such as yoga balls, floor pads for working on the floor, and wobble chairs so they can twist and turn safely. Safety is the most important part and giving them these fidgets instead of heavy chairs that fall over will help our students be safe and simulated.

Creating an amazing learning environment is what I can do as their teacher, and I hope this creates a space for all students to learn together in the best way possible for them.

Students with different abilities will thrive instead of being shoved into a chair that doesn't work for everyone! I can't wait to help them grow as students and learners.
