Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am extremely enthusiastic about giving students options to make learning engaging. I hope I can meet the needs of all students since we believe in inclusion for every child. There are some things that I believe would help students' learning, as well as make teaching more organized and fun.

It would be wonderful to provide a learning environment filled with learning in motion to help meet the students' needs.

It is my goal to support diverse learning opportunities among students due to my belief that inclusion benefits all students' development.

My Project

These materials will enable my students to make the most of their in classroom or remote learning when school begins. By providing the same materials to all of my students would allow me to share activities that they all would be able to complete. This will help the students that are learning from home feel socially and emotionally connected to our classroom from a distance.

Lessons for First grade both in the classroom and remotely is best when it is engaging and hands-on.

Due to remote learning with these resources students will be able to have the same learning experiences and complete the same activities that they would be able to complete in the classroom. Students in the classroom will be able to socially interact with their peers at home. The tape, playdoh, sentence strips, lamination sheets, and staples will allow students the chance to follow along and stay engaged. The sentence strips will allow the students to create fun learning activities. The play-doh will be used to practice fractions and vocabulary practice. The lamination sheets, staples, and tape will be used to prepare assignments for students to complete both at home and in the classroom. These materials will make a difference in my students' learning experience both at home and at school.
