Funded May 3, 2022I am so overwhelmed with your kindness and support within my classroom. I want to thank you for helping me provide resources that I can use in the classroom. I will be able to not only help my students but the other wonderful first grade teachers and students as well. These resources will reach over 100 first graders. The reading, writing and math resources will not only enrich the standards we will be teaching but help elevate the students comprehension and reading skills of the curriculum being taught. Funded May 5, 2022Magic Treehouse books have supported students in our first grade classes to explore new worlds and characters. As we explore story elements and creating higher level questioning during our LASSO time(literature studies) students are engaged and have ownership on their learning. They have been able to talk about far away places and think about why characters are thinking and feeling the way they are. They have fallen in love with not only the characters but some stories and have read them over and over again, which has helped them become even stronger in their reading. When young children love the books they are reading, they will read them many times and this allows them to do great things with the words, such as add voices to dialogue and sound even smoother and more confident with sentences. These books have been wonderful in supporting many children to become more successful with these skills. Thank you for your support in enriching our students minds and education.”

Because of your generosity, each of my First graders will hand engaging learning activities and get incentives like smelly stickers for rewards, crafts and team building. These stickers you helped us get makes a big difference in the lives of our students. First Grade is a grade where students are just learning how to follow direction and the best way to teach following directions is by doing everything hands on together. The students have enjoyed having some really cool treasure box toys added to the collection as a daily incentive.
Thank you for being positive examples of kindness to my students! They will be thrilled to know that you care about them and want to help them be successful. Thank you for teaching them the importance of making the world a better place for others.

Thank you for supporting my students and help them get materials for distance learning and in the classroom during this pandemic so that every student has the same supplies and manipulatives for learning.
Because of your generosity, each of my First graders will have their very own paint set, dice, dry eraser, play doh, and smelly stickers for rewards. These art and manipulative supplies you helped us get makes a big difference in the lives of our students. First Grade is a grade where students are just learning how to follow direction and the best way to teach following directions is by doing everything hands on together.
These art and manipulative supplies will help make distance learning more engaging and help them be academically ready when we open back for in person learning next school year. Funded Oct 23, 2020The excitement about the machine and all of its capabilities is palpable. We are excited to use this maching in for the classroom. We have had teachers use it for bulletin boards and labeling student items. We will also be using it for crafts, projects and specialized rewards for our students. The possibilities are endless.
I know I speak for all of us in first grade when I say THANK YOU for giving us another tool to make our classrooms and school a more inviting place to learn. We appreciate everything our community does for us, and this is one more project that has enhanced our environment.”

Funded Jul 3, 2020We are beyond grateful to have all these new school supplies. They came in at a perfect time.
The new science resources we received include the magnetic strips, chick life cycle, frog life cycle, butterfly life cycle, plant life cycle, cross section flower, stem sink or float set. These new materials are useful during instruction both in the classroom and online for the students to have a visual of the information we are learning.
My students were speechless when we received the supplies. Their jaws dropped with excitement. They were eager to use the materials. My students were are able to use the visuals to create their own life cycle models on paper.
My students are going to be able to use these supplies to finish the school year with memorable visuals! These basic supplies meant a lot to my students. We can't thank you enough for your generous donations!”

A Breath Of Fresh Air!!
Funded Oct 1, 2020Thank you so much for your generous donations to my classroom. My students have returned to school and they are so excited to know I am taking extra precautions to keep them safe. This purifier is perfect in allowing me to run it throughout the day while my students are eagerly in class learning. It will clean the air and free it of any bacteria, dust, and viruses. This will help me to keep my classroom safer for everyone inside. I cannot thank you enough for your support. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart! This air purifier will be a positive start in offering a cleaner and healthier environment for me and my first grader. In these scary times, breathing purified air will be one less hurdle for us to deal with.”
