My Project

As an Apple Distinguished School our students use Apple technology and apps to demonstrate learning in multiple ways. They work hard and create amazing projects, videos, and presentations to share their learning. However, sometimes the background noise in the classroom is too much and overpowers their speaking voices when recording, or a student is so shy that the microphone struggles to pick up their voice.

Bluetooth Wireless microphones will allow my students to demonstrate their learning and creativity with improved sound quality!

These microphones will allow them to set up their iPads to record from various angles and places in the classroom and learning areas without restricting them to a specific distance as would corded microphones. They will be able to work in groups or individually to interview each other, create podcasts, videos, record audio over presentations that can be viewed anytime and not just when students are in the classroom.

We strive to create an engaging environment where students use choice and voice to select how they present their learning and also where to go for other learning. Having better sound quality in these projects will allow students to access each other's learning and learn more about a variety of different topics, without taking valuable instruction time for all students to present in a standard classroom.
