My Project

Math is one of the most challenging subjects in high school. Algebraic concepts are sometimes abstract and difficult to imagine. The key is finding fun and engaging ways to make it relatable and joyful. Both algebra and solving the Rubik's cube involve recognizing and manipulating patterns. Students can develop the ability to identify patterns in equations and apply them to solve problems more efficiently. Solving a Rubik's Cube involves a series of logical steps. This aligns with the critical thinking skills needed in algebra, where students need to analyze problems, devise strategies, and make logical deductions to solve equations. Solving a Rubik's Cube can be challenging, and requires patience and persistence, much like math problems in class.

The experience of working through a complex problem that does not have an immediate solution, like a Rubik's Cube, can teach students perseverance in the face of challenging algebraic concepts.

Incorporating a fun and interactive element like a Rubik's Cube increases student engagement and motivation. The Rubik's Cube provides a unique way for students to develop skills that are transferrable to their algebraic learning. It's also exciting to watch students friendly compete!
