The items I have chosen will help students be more organized and ready for class. The clear pencil boxes will be used as toolboxes with things such as dry erase markers and erasers, scissors, glue sticks, etc. that my students will keep in their cubbies for use each day. This will save class time (no passing out each individual item). The incentives will be used to inspire young minds and reward all of their hard work. It always surprises me how hard kids work for candy at school. We run out of candy every year and it gets super expensive - especially with 27 kids per class. When my students meet a long term goal that has been set, I like to reward them with something special such as the personal water bottles and stickers along with a regular size candy bar! YUM!
