My Project

My students are in first grade, and then, I am lucky enough to have the same class again in second grade, and boy do they grow throughout our time together!

I would like a rug to provide our class with a place to gather and learn as a whole group.

We will place it near our smartboard, so students can see and be engaged in our lessons using technology. I also imagine using the rug as a place for reading books together as a whole group, and for students to have a soft place to sit, work, and play, alone or with a friend.

In our classroom, we do most of our learning in centers and small groups. The stools will provide a place for the students to sit around a table with a teacher and learn in a smaller group. The stools will make fitting around the table more comfortable, as our class grows from first to second grade. They would also be a beautiful addition to our colorful classroom!
