My Project

Donorschoose featured favorites have some unique and inspiring items that I know my students can relate to.

I want to bring these items into our learning environment so that our students know that they are not different, but unique.

The books selected can highlight some of the differences that students see in themselves as well as others and give them a new perspective on those differences. The dolls represent individuals with different skin tones beautifully and will help students see just how beautiful their own complexion is. I want my students to have these items as a reminder that being different is not a bad thing, but a unique thing.
