Yoga Balls for Learning

My students need 30 yoga balls because research states that yoga balls improve posture and strengthens your core which improves learning.

My Students

Sitting in style is what I call it. Children need movement in the classroom. What better way for them to move then on a yoga ball. Yoga balls help students sit up straight and strengthens their core, which allows them to be better learners. Core strength keeps students healthy and strong.

Our school is in Fall River, MA.

My students are amazing kids who work hard and never give up. Some come with challenges emotionally, economically, and socially, but when they are my classroom everyone is equal and has the same opportunities of being a self-reliant individual.

My Project

The students will use the yoga balls in place of chairs, but will always have the opportunity to use a conventional chair if they wish. I have used these in the past and students love them, it keeps them focused, strong, and gives students the opportunity to move to the level that suits them. The amazing thing is you don't hear any screeching of chairs and rattle of any sort.

This project will improve my classroom because it is a fun and sophisticated way of learning and exercise rolled into one.

It will change my students lives because instead of fidgeting to get comfortable in a conventional chair they can move with comfort and ease without anyone knowing. It is great for the active student as well as any other. Try one in your office or home. You will never use another chair again.
