Yoga and Clean Air for a Healthy Mind!

Help me give my students individual yoga mats for us to practice mindfulness and healthy wellness activities in the classroom. I also requested a humidifier, air purifier, and diffuser to create a calming and most importantly, clean environment.

My Students

My students come from diverse cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds and in our classroom, we celebrate our differences and work together to achieve our best.

In my class, we build a community where all students are challenged, engaged, and most of all loved!

We love to learn through play and utilize our natural curiosity to teach us about the world. Our school has a large population of English learners and families who receive free breakfast and free or reduced-price lunch, including students from local shelters. My students come to my classroom, all at various ability levels, excited and ready to learn.

My Project

Many students were denied a healthy and mindful learning environment due to COVID-19. A class set of individual yoga mats will ensure that students have a safe and clean place they can go to while participating in healthy mindfulness practices.

These materials will provide students with a clean, safe, and healthy environment for them to learn and grow in.

The humidifier, air purifier, and diffuser will help stop germs from spreading and create a clean and good-smelling classroom where all students will feel comfortable and welcome.

The yoga mat baskets will keep them organized, while the ottoman/filling will provide students with a place to sit during our student author time. Students have been asking for a nice place to sit during this time and they will be thrilled with these purchases for our classroom.
