Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I will use Bless Me Ultima with my Spanish 4 class; we will relate the book to the 6 topics tested at the end of the year. Other chapter books will be for my Spanish 2 and Spanish 3 classes.

The books in English are for Mexican American Studies class; I aim to provide students books that they can relate to and enjoy.

They love scary stories. Every October I read aloud myths and legends from San Antonio and Latino America. Students also need the requested paper to do research, write and retell stories they found.
