Obviously, we live in a technology driven world filled with computers, tablets and more. As a teacher, I use technology lessons daily and I know having a Windows 10 all in one would help my students in Pre K learn letters. "A is for Apple, B is for Ball, please let C be a computer for me!"
Our Pre K-5th grade school is one of the feeder schools in town.
We have over 500 wonderful students here! I am a Pre K teacher who has taught other grade levels in the past. Though it is not easy, our school is one that works hard to bring technology to our students. Our students truly love and embrace the technology resources we have. My students are eager to learn and work in centers every day. They love using technology in our classroom.
My Project
I am a teacher who truly enjoys using technology in my classroom. Additional technology money is not always in the budget of school systems. I have had computers crash on me in the past year. At this time, I have been using a personal laptop that is also on its last legs and will crash soon. The purchase of a new computer would be beneficial for my Pre K students. With a new computer, my students could engage in rich technology lessons. The Internet offers a variety of free online activities for our students. I know having a new computer would help them continue to participate in productive and effective technology online programs. My students need a new laptop and mouse. "Empowering Students Through Art" is definitely a goal on my agenda. With a new laptop, I could also incorporate project-based lessons which will incorporate lessons that encourage fine arts, music and creativity.
I know that I would need to learn more about this system.
For me, the next step lies with having become a student again. The cycle of learning is critical for students today. My students can move forward if you help us with this quest of mine! A is for Apple, B is for Ball, C is for Computer! Could you possibly help us with the "C is for Computer" part?
