Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project will help connect my students lives to current science and social studies topics. Scholastic News is an engaging way for all students to learn the curriculum, increase their reading skills and have fun. This allows my students to access the magazines and resources physically, as well as, digitally. Each student keep their magazines and bring them home to read over and over. Many of my students do not have reading materials at home, so being able to send them home with engaging materials is crucial to their success.

Our classroom has run out of certain consumables that each student needs to get through the year.

The glitter glue is used in projects throughout the year. The playdoh is used for recess and other activities. The gift card is used for fun engaging activities during our center rotations,
