This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember a club or sport that you were involved in during middle school? The Yearbook Program is what a lot of the students want to be a part of at my school.

My students consistent of all Hispanic students who live in a low poverty area.

School is the place where they all want to be. The yearbook students consist of mostly Pre-Ap students who have big dreams of going to college. They are the type of students who are willing to do anything for anyone. The school that my students attend is a public middle school that has about 515 students in attendance. We are a title 1 and title 3 school.

My Project

The two cameras that we currently have are out-of-date, and I also have to loan them out to other organizations. My students will learn how to take pictures, and process them onto the yearbook pages. The camera I have chosen is not very expensive, but will produce quality photos to place in the yearbook.

My students are all hard workers, and deserve to experience the best yearbook program I can provide for them.

This camera will be used to capture important moments through out the year so the students are able to produce the best yearbook yet!
