My Students

My students are the most deserving students out there.

They are special needs, and SUPER special (D75) students, they are taught in a 6:1:1 class.

Now my class is taught remotely. Some of the disabilities include autism, learning disabled, dysgraphia with sensory issues. They need some supplies in their home to achieve their full potential. They are most definitely visual and hands on learners.

I am looped with them for 3 years now and they are the best 3 years ever!

They have become my own children. The students and parents are like family. They call me anytime for anything, yes weekends included! Face-time on the weekends are a plus! I am very lucky as a teacher to have these wonderful students and parents. We have such a wonderful encouraging administration too.

I want to help my students and parents remotely as much as possible by getting supplies to them. I have sent Amazon sensory/learning packages to some students already on my own. I would love to send each student a specialized individual remote item, that will increase learning and address sensory issues. My parents have reached out to me personally about sensory items.

My Project

These materials will reach my students remotely and help them learn in the comforts of their home environment. I will assist my students daily, to provide live learning with sensory breaks. The materials, if donated, will help my students not to lose skills and help learn new skills.

My distance learning project will help support parents as they support their children... kudos to my parents and caregivers, working so hard and diligently to meet the needs of their children.

Students have technology at home to learn on a remote digital platform, but students with disabilities need sensory breaks in order to meet academic requirements.
