This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I currently teach at a Title I school in which 100% of students receive free meals. We also have ASES where students are there until 5:30 p.m. One third of my class are English Learners who are struggling to meet grade level standards. My parents are hard working, supportive parents that help their child be successful.
My Project
As we continue following safety protocols, my students are eager to learn on digital platforms. Each student is required to have their own device for safety reasons.
Using XP Pen Tablets will be used by students in class in order for students to complete work digitally and make working online that much easier for them.
These tablet/pens allow for solving math problems on virtual whiteboards where multiple children are showing their work simultaneously while practicing social distancing. Using these pens raises their confidence and ability to show their work instead of struggling writing with a mouse or on the track pad.
