This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
While I have very high academic and behavioral expectations of my students, I am well aware that many of them benefit from positive reinforcement and incentives. Our classroom treasure box is a hot commodity! The only problem is these kids are so terrific I am running out of ways to reward them! I am requesting rewards that will appeal to both the girls and boys in the class, including sensory toys and fidgets, various types of candy, bubbles, and building blocks.
The feeling of pride in their personal behavior and academic pursuits encourages my students to do their best so that they can earn a trip to the treasure box!
