Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These resources will greatly enhance our classroom by creating an inclusive environment that meets the diverse sensory, emotional, and physical needs of our students. By incorporating tools like the Special Supplies Square Floor Liquid Tiles, students will benefit from a vibrant sensory station that encourages active play, balance, and coordination—especially helpful for those with sensory challenges. The Sensory Tent offers a calming space for students to self-regulate, while Henry the Weighted Husky provides comforting pressure that supports emotional regulation during both learning and social interactions. These items will be integrated into daily routines, sensory breaks, and social-emotional lessons to help students improve self-control, focus, and physical coordination.

My goal for this project is to foster a classroom environment where every student feels safe, supported, and empowered to succeed.

I believe these resources will not only improve student well-being but also boost engagement and participation. What makes my students special is their unique set of strengths, challenges, and interests. By providing tailored tools like the Emotions Coin Drop students will be able to identify their feelings, stepping stones for motor development, and the Galaxy Projector for relaxation, I aim to meet each student’s individual needs and help them thrive both academically and emotionally. Together, these resources will help create a warm, inclusive space where all students can grow and succeed.
