Writing Workshop Preparation

My Project

Recently in the state of Florida, the CORE state standards have changed to the B.E.S.T Benchmarks. With the new benchmarks, there is also new state assessments. In the past, 6th grade and below were required to taking state assessments with pencil and paper. Now all state assessments for 6th grades will be on computers this school year. In preparation, 6th graders will be participating in Writing Workshop where students will become familiar with typing their essays on a computer. Students will need a USB Flash Drive as a tool to store their files. IPad Pro will be used to create and display documents with students.
