Writing Workshop: Learning to Write Using Cool Trait Method!

My students need a Writing Traits Bulletin Board, 40 reproducible Writing Traits Mini-Lessons, Writing Traits Teacher's Guide, Writing Traits Picture Book Lessons, Writing Traits Checklists, Spelling Word Wall Set, pencils, and other necessary writing Traits materials. I'd also like an inexpensive sweeper to keep our new reading carpet spotless.

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach at a wonderful inner city public school. I am both an inclusion and pull-out special education teacher. Most of my students have incredible difficulty writing and spelling.

Somewhere along the line they've never learned and/or mastered the most basic writing skills. I find that I am constantly having to teach and reteach writing skills to my kindergarten up to my eighth grade students.

I have been told that this Trait Writing Program reaches many students and gives the students effective strategies to learn and improve their writing. I would love to have these materials and share them with my colleagues. It would be wonderful to have the instructional posters and reminders on the walls for the students to be able to refer to when writing. I would also like to use the reproducible lessons in all of my classes. I know that with these extra writing strategies and guides my students' writing will improve.

It is so important for our students to become effective writers. They need to know how to write in order to succeed in life. I am hoping that you will support this proposal and help my students learn to write by providing these supplies. You can help make all the difference in my students lives! :)
