My Project
My fifth-grade students are at an age where they are starting to explore their creativity and interests. This Wacom tablet has a variety of uses in the classroom.
First, I can use it daily to engage students as they take charge of their own learning.
The wireless capabilities would allow me to walk around the room while projecting a text or problem on the Smart TV and students can answer questions from wherever they are. Students can annotate text, write, draw, and work collaboratively with each other. A Wacom can also be a great tool to use to record videos and teach virtually if needed.
Next, I can use the Wacom in an after-school News club to encourage creativity and critical thinking. Students can create signs, posters, and other online multimedia to promote positive things happening at our school. This builds a positive home-to-school connection with our community.
