Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

One thing that I enjoy about my students is their eagerness to learn. They work hard to achieve goals that can benefit them in the end. Another quality I love about my student is they are hardworking. They do whatever it takes to learn no matter how hard the problem might seem.

My Project

Schools today are asking students to write mathematical journals about their problem-solving experiences or to articulate and defend their views about mathematics-related issues.

Because of this resource, my district has required teachers to add writing to the students' math lessons.

I am including in this project composition notebooks for students to write mathematical responses and work out problems in these notebooks.

These writing journals are awesome ways for students to organize and keep their work responses in one location.
