My Project
The students in my classroom need varying levels of intervention. These supplies will be directed towards my writing group, but, the rest of my special education students will also have access to them to support their education and needs.
Having access to proper adaptive pencils, handwriting paper, erasers and the rest of these items will allow my writing students to dedicate their focus to the formation of their letters and numbers rather than the ease in which they can hold a typical pencil.
This is something that not only my writing students struggle with, but, other students of mine and within the Special Education Department at my school. There is potential for these materials to affect more than the students in my room and to make a bigger impact on the school as a whole.
